As President of the Southeast Asia Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (SEAFOMP), I am delighted to welcome you to the 24th Asia-Oceania Congress of Medical Physics (AOCMP) and the 22nd South-East Asia Congress of Medical Physics (SEACOMP). This distinguished event will take place from October 10th to 13th, 2024, at The Wembley - A St Giles Hotel, Penang, Malaysia.

These congresses are cornerstone events for medical physics professionals in our region. They serve as a unique platform for sharing cutting-edge knowledge, engaging in scientific discussions, experiencing cultural exchanges, and staying updated on the latest medical technology advancements.

The theme for this year’s congress, “Revolutionising Patient Care Through Medical Physics,” emphasizes our dedication to enhancing healthcare through innovation and collaboration. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the organizing committee for assembling a diverse and comprehensive scientific program that covers a wide range of topics, including diagnostic and interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy, radiation protection, radiobiology, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. We are also eager to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and strengthen our partnerships with industry.

This event would not be possible without the tireless efforts of both our local and international organizing committees. Their dedication and hard work have been instrumental in bringing this congress to life, and we owe them our deepest gratitude for their exceptional contributions.

Building on the successes of previous congresses, I am confident that AOCMP & SEACOMP 2024 will offer an exceptional opportunity for scientific enrichment, professional networking, and showcasing your research and innovations.
